BOONVILLE — Mrs. Dorothy M. Williams, age 93, of Chandler, Ind. went to her heavenly home on Dec. 3, 2023.
Dorothy was born on Oct. 1, 1930 in Newburgh, Ind. to the late Lawrence and Grace (Pfafflin) Jones.
Dorothy retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Ind. after working for over 30 years as a Human Resource Specialist. Dorothy’s hobbies included her love of cooking, crocheting, and she was a very active member of Cypress Baptist Church in Boonville, IN for more than 66 years.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence “Bob” Williams her husband of 72 years, her son, Phil Williams and brothers Kenneth Jones, Ralph Jones, Richard Jones and Herman “Bill” Jones.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Gary Williams of Odessa, Fla., Steve Williams (Robin) of Newburgh, Ind. and daughter, Becky Hills (Kevin) of Newburgh, Ind.. She is also survived by grandchildren, Nicky Burton, Brent Williams, Jennifer Gorman, Michael Williams, Jason Williams, Aaron Hills and Nathan Hills and 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Services were held on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Ind.. Entombment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Ind.
