GREENWOOD, Ind. — An apartment fire in Greenwood left multiple residents displaced and one resident injured, according to the Greenwood Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched Saturday at 1:24 a.m. to 1093 Westminster Row on a report activated alarms and smoke going through a roof.
Fire officials arrived on scene within five minutes to extinguish the fire.
One resident encountered minor burns and smoke inhalation. At least eight apartments were damaged by the fire or water damage.
The Red Cross and Johnson County Fire Angels responded to the scene to assist the residents that did not have housing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
