HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – An Indianapolis Metropolitan police officer is accused of sex crimes in Hendricks County.
Kamal Bola, 35, was arrested Tuesday on preliminary charges of child molesting (three counts) and public voyeurism, according to jail records.
The circumstances leading to his arrest haven’t been released. He was booked into the Hendricks County Jail around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Multiple sources confirmed Bola is a member of IMPD. The department said it would release a statement on the matter later in the day.
The arrest comes just weeks after another IMPD officer, Javed Richards, was arrested in connection with a child exploitation case.
