INDIANAPOLIS – A crash involving a semi truck slowed the Friday morning commute on the west side.
It happened on southbound I-465 between West 21st Street and West 10th Street (near the Crawfordsville Road exit).
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash involved a jackknifed semi truck. Images from earlier in the morning showed the trailer positioned perpendicular to the road.
Traffic is able to get by on the left side, but several lanes are blocked, leading to backups in the area.
That isn’t the only issue drivers are dealing with on 465.
INDOT’s map showed a pair of crashes on the south side between Harding Street and Mann Road affecting both eastbound and westbound traffic.
The right lane was closed in each direction, according to INDOT’s map.
