INDIANAPOLIS – A person ended up in the hospital after a Wednesday night shooting on the east side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded around 9 p.m. to Community Hospital East at 1500 N. Ritter Avenue, where they found a person had been shot.
Police said the individual had been “self-transported to the hospital in stable condition.”
Investigators believe the initial shooting happened in the 2900 block of North Graham Avenue.
Aggravated assault detectives were investigating.
