On Sunday, the National Football Foundation Honors Brunch took place at the Purdue Memorial Union



WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — On Sunday, the National Football Foundation Honors Brunch took place at the Purdue Memorial Union. The event was sponsored by the National Football Foundation’s Joe Tiller Chapter of Northwest Indiana.

Former McCutcheon quarterback and Indiana Mr. Football Clayton Richard, and former Purdue receiver Taylor Stubblefield were among four new members inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

The Purdue Men’s Basketball Team was also honored for their incredible season.

Head Coach Matt Painter and former Coach Gene Keady received the Gold Medallion Award while Braden Smith and Zach Edey received the Purdue For Life Impact Award.

Local high school scholar-athletes were also recognized for their outstanding work.

News 18’s Marlee Thomas was one of the emcee’s for the event.
