WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The opening two weeks of pairings have been announced for the 114th Annual IHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament presented by the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.
Sectional games are scheduled to begin Tuesday, Feb. 27, and run through Saturday, March 2 with regionals on Saturday, March 9.
For the second year, the regional is a single-game championship, and the semi-state a two-game affair with the winner advancing to the state championship game.
Two regional championship games will be played back-to-back at the same site with the winners finding out their next opponent and host site the following day. The semi-state games – scheduled for Saturday, March 16 – will be randomly drawn and announced in a special pairings show via IHSAAtv.org.
The four state championship games that make up the State Finals will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, March 30. That date is a week later than normally scheduled due to Gainbridge Fieldhouse hosting the NCAA Men’s Basketball First and Second Round Tournament games.
Sectionals Dates: February 27-March 2, 2024.
Admission: $7 per session; $15 all sessions.
