Jackrabbits, Growlers to play 2 today at KMS
The Kokomo Jackrabbits will host the Kalamazoo Growlers for a pair of games today at Kokomo Municipal Stadium after scheduled Kokomo-Kalamazoo games on Tuesday and today at Kalamazoo, Michigan, were wiped out because of flooding at the Growlers’ home field.
Today at KMS, game one will begin at 4:35 p.m. with the game in the top of the fourth inning, a makeup from an earlier rainout. Game two will begin 30 minutes after the end of the first game, but not earlier than 7:05 p.m. The second game will be seven innings.
The game originally scheduled for today at Kalamazoo was moved to Friday, Aug. 9 and will be played as a doubleheader at Kokomo. Both games will be seven innings and game one will start at 5:05 p.m. Kokomo will be the home team in game one and Kalamazoo will be the home team in game two.
