Julia Ann Lambert, 75, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:14 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born July 15, 1948, in Butlerville, she was the daughter of James Edward and Lillian Carol (Harlow) Russ.
Julia was a housewife and worked for the former Regal Rugs and Community Health Care Center in North Vernon. She was a member of the North Vernon Eagles Lodge and North Vernon Moose Lodge. She loved playing solitaire, spending time with her grandkids, and being around babies.
Survivors include her sons, Ed Everhart of North Vernon; daughters, Theresa Everhart of Seymour and Jeanna (Jarvie) Williams and Bernice Everhart, both of North Vernon; sister, Emma Fugate of Burlington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Andrea Hollin and Shadyn Sons, both of North Vernon, Shelby Williams of Scottsburg, and Nola Sons of Austin; great-grandchildren, Austin, Aliyah, Kennedy, Ruthie, Gracelynn, Rayah, Zailey, Lamont, Louyza, Castille, and Mabel Juliann; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Bernard Everhart; second husband, David Lambert; and siblings, Lillian Collett, Rosemary Wilder, Harold Russ, Sonny Russ, and Robert Russ.
A funeral service for Julia will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 2:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made in honor of Julia through the funeral home to the donorâs choice of organization.
